Khadimnagar National Park is about 15 km northeast of Sylhet city. It is in the Khadimnagar Union of Sylhet Sadar Upazila. It is also in the Fatehpur Union of Gowainghat Upazila.
This fantastic park area has a total area of 678.80 hectares. It includes high and low hilly areas surrounded by six tea plantations.
The site covers Sylhet North Range-1. It also includes Khadimnagar Forest Beat under Sylhet Forest Division. Khadimnagar is unique for nature tours.
It is home to various flora and rare fauna, including attractive cane-bamboo. Khadimnagar Park shares a border with Charagang Tea Estate to the east.

It also shares a border with Jalalabad Cantonment and Habibnagar Tea Estate to the east. To the west are Burjan Tea Estate and Kalagul Tea Estate.
To the north is Gulni Tea Estate, and to the south is Khadim Tea Estate. Khadim Choumuhna is just after passing the Shahparan shrine gate.
It is about 10 km along the Jaflong road from Sylhet city. From Khadim Chaumuhana, the road goes to the right-hand side.
Khadimnagar Chabagan is the beginning of going ahead along the road. Go further along the garden road and see a culvert.
If you continue the road without crossing the ditch, you will see more tea plantations. There are tea gardens after tea plantations.
The main road is about five km southwards from Khadimnagar Rainforest. The road paving to the forest includes paved, unpaved, and brick surfaces.
This rainforest covers 1673 acres of hills and natural jungles. It lies between the six tea estates of Charagang and Habibnagar in the east.
It is also between Barjan and Kalagul in the west, Gulni in the north, and Khadimnagar in the south. It has been officially famous as a national park.
United States Agency for International Development helps to manage this beautiful park. Khadimnagar has two trails of 45 minutes and two hours for walking.
Maps of both trails are available in front of the forest department beat office. You can also take a local guide along to complete a good trip.
If you take the road north in front of the forest, you can reach the Airport-Haripur road. From there, you can go to the Ratargul Swamp Forest.
Using this site is a good idea if a tourist wants to visit Sylhet. It is possible to see the Tee Garden, Rainforest, and Swamforest using this route.
You can drive this road by car since it has a paved and bricked structure. However, if it is raining, it is better to take CNG. CNG for rent is available at Khadim Choumuhna.
How to get to Khadimnagar Park
Buses from Dhaka to Sylhet depart from Gabtali and Syedabad bus terminals. Buses depart at regular intervals from morning to twelve forty-five PM.
Buses of Sylhet depart from Fakirapool, Syedabad, and Mohakhali bus stations in Dhaka. The intercity train, Parabat Express, departs from Kamalapur every day except Tuesday.
It leaves at six forty am. Jayantika Express departs at two PM on weekdays. Upaban Express departs at nine fifty PM on weekdays, except Wednesday.
Kalani Express departs at four pm every day except Friday. Rent of this train start from 150 to 1 thousand 18 taka per person.
If you take the Upaban Express at nine-fifty pm, you can sleep on the train at night. You can start your journey after getting off the train in the morning.
It will take 7-8 hours. Paharika Express departs from Chittagong at 8:15 a.m. daily, except Monday. Udayan Express departs at 9:45 p.m. daily, except Saturday.
