Look for hidden spots in the margins and use ground bait and loose pellets to attract fish. Try using a method feeder or float fishing with 4-6mm pellets, soft hooks, and maggots.

Pole fishing is perfect for intermediate and advanced anglers. Try to use floating mixers, dog biscuits, and bread in the summer evenings.

ASH POND

This one does not have overstock. It’s a bit more challenging and requires effort. Ash has much larger carp, weighing 10 and 20 lbs, with a few over 20 lbs.

It includes a double swim in one corner and four spacious swims. Those over 18 can enter, and the depth ranges from 3 ft-7 ft.

Small PVA bags or pellets with 6-8mm Robin Red or Sticky Manila are ideal. Start with small amounts of high-quality boilies.

LARCH POND

Anglers can not use nets, except during matches, and only on fishery keep nets. There’s a limit of 2 rods on all ponds. You can’t use lead core or barbed hooks.

ASH Pond is only available for individuals who are 18 years and older. Please do not reserve swims. Please be considerate and give other anglers a fair opportunity.

If management finds personal equipment left to reserve a swim for too long, they will take it away. Handle fish gently. Kneel and place the fish on the mat for photos.
