This youthful waterfall can be visible while traveling along the river. People travel along the river from Ruma to Thanchi. It has a name in the Marma language.

A Place of Natural Beauty

It defeats dreamy beauty as water flows year-round. The water flows from the top of a three-hundred-foot mountain. When it comes to natural beauty, Sangu is no less than Rijuk.

The Sangu river does not have much water during the rest of the year except during the monsoon season. During the monsoons, the Rijuk pours so much water on the Sangu river.

During this time, even large engine boats gain speed to reach the edge of the falls due to the strong current. Then the beauty of Rijuk takes a different form.

But it has a good amount of youth even in the dry season. There is no shortage of speed and enthusiasm.

As soon as anyone stands near the waterfall, cold water falls on his body like a monsoon. A sweet feeling spread over the body.

From where the stream of water is coming down, plants are growing deep on the mountain. A layer of greenery surrounds this fountain giving it a different dimension.

A kingdom of sand and pebbles can be visible beneath the crystal clear waters. Here the Marma girls are looking for snails in the kneeling water of the river.

There are hills to the right and crop fields to the left. Many bamboo rafts can be visible in the chest of Sangu while coming towards Ruma Bazar.

To the right are hills, and to the left is quite an area of crop fields. There is a mountain in the Marma locality opposite Rijuk Waterfall.

There is a neighborhood of Marma people on the opposite side of Rijuk. They call this neighborhood the New Rijuk Para.

If you have extra time, you can explore these places to learn about the tribal lifestyle. Bom or Marma people show unmatched hospitality and sincerity to the visitors.
